The 2017 season of the Indian Premier League, abbreviated as VIVO IPL 10 will be the tenth season of the IPL, a professional Twenty20 cricket league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007. The tournament will feature the same 8 teams of previous season. Sunrisers Hyderabad are the defending champions having won the 2016 season. It is scheduled to start on 5 April 2017 and finish on 21 May 2017. Hyderabad is set to host the opening match and final match.
